چکیده
Abstract This work reports the successful synthesis and application of α-Cu-FeOOH in heterogeneous Fenton treatment actual textile dyeing wastewater. The material characteristics were analyzed by SEM, EDX, BET, FTIR, XRD methods. In tests, highest TOC color removal efficiencies found to be 46.88 37.98%, respectively, suitable conditions Cu/Fe molar ratio = 5%, [H 2 O ] 0.1 M, [α-Cu-FeOOH] 0.6 g/L, pH 7, after 60 min. values well met discharge standard for wastewater (QCVN 13:2015/BTNMT, Column B). presence copper enhanced activation H reactions under neutral environments. Therefore, has great potential practical with an initial 185.6 mg/L concentration 72.54 mg/L.

Textile Dyeing Wastewater Treatment
Textile industry can be classified into three categories viz., cotton, woolen, and synthetic fibers depending upon the used raw materials. The cotton textile industry is one of the oldest industries in China. The textile dyeing industry consumes large quantities of water and produces large volumes of wastewater from different steps in the dyeing and finishing processes. Wastewater from printing...
متن کاملAdsorption Characteristics of Steel Scrap used as Heterogeneous Catalyst in Fenton Process in Textile Dyeing Wastewater Treatment
This paper evaluates the treatment of textile dyeing wastewater by using steel scrap as adsorbents and heterogeneous catalysts for Modified Fenton oxidation. The efficiency of the process was explored as a function of the experimental parameters: pH, hydrogen peroxide concentration and Steel scrap content. The composites with high steel scrap content were effective to adsorb colour and COD in t...

In a laboratory study, decolourisation of real textile dyeing wastewater by modified solar photo-Fenton (Steel scrap/ H2O2 ) process under irradiation with sunlight was examined. Batch experiments were conducted to determine optimal operating conditions .The optimal doses of H2O2 and steel scrap were 15 mL/L and 1 g/L, respectively at pH 3.Colour removal of 89% was obtained under optimum condit...
متن کاملTreatment of Actual Chemical Wastewater by a Heterogeneous Fenton Process Using Natural Pyrite.
Wastewater from chemical plants has remarkable antibiotic effects on the microorganisms in traditional biological treatment processes. An enhanced Fenton system catalyzed by natural pyrite was developed to degrade this kind of wastewater. Approximately 30% chemical oxygen demand (COD) was removed within 120 min when 50 mmol/L H₂O₂ and 10 g/L natural pyrite were used at initial pH from 1.8 to 7....
